Major & Minor

I'm struck by the fact that a really good photograph has an essence that will outlive its time of capture and still stir interest even if your photography evolves into something different from the subject recorded at the time. And what's really striking is its apparent simplicity. Some are interesting in that they show a possibility.Sketches.Minors. Pleasure, patience and perseverance and luck put us on a path to major finding.

Strong words and amazing photo.
Great exposure, done just right.
About - "...a really good photograph has an essence that will outlive its time of capture..." - I think that's true to any (good) creation of art, no? :)

Yes Ilan, It is true to every creation of art.I speak specifically about photography cause that's one of my medium of expression and that's mainly what this blog-o-mine is about. Those words are to be used and remembered when YOU personally go over your own work and you will feel these words and see how they work. They are not used to assist the way book publishers are putting monographies together and if so, well I do not always agree on selection they made in monographies I have. They make sense when the photographer itself chose the photographs. Back to square one. These words are meant to be used by the artist facing his/her own work make and find peace.
As for the photograph itself, where I'm satisfied is that it was the only way to get something interesting there. Not a major photo, but a nice way to squeeze something out of the ordinary and a clever way to get rid of the background which would have wasted the frame if ever see.Thank you for rour enthusiasm.
